The Women of Liberty

The Women of Liberty

The Statue of Liberty is a colossal neoclassical sculpture on Liberty Island in New York Harbor in New York City, in the United States. designed by French sculptor Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi and its metal framework was built by Gustave Eiffel.

The statue is a figure of Libertas, a robed Roman liberty goddess. She holds a torch above her head with her right hand.

The 7 sharp objects on the head of this statue are the symbol of the 7 continents of the world and with that torch it shows the connection of these continents.

In this piece, which I have drawn a Iranian woman with digital lithography style, I wanted to show the support of women around the world for Iranian women and want to say Women are stronger with each other, wherever they are.
